Manor PD Awarded TxDOT Grant

TxDOT Impaired Driving Mobilization Equipment Project

Manor, Texas – January 13, 2010 – The Manor Police Department was awarded a $4,000.00 check for its participation in the TxDOT Impaired Driving Mobilization Equipment Project. Manor PD was one of only 15 agencies in the state to receive these funds and the only agency in Travis County.

The participation of the project included citations and arrest for various offenses including Speeding and DWI over 2009 Labor Day weekend. The money is planned to be used towards traffic safety equipment.
