On October 14, 2008, the City of Manor was honored to receive a Best of Texas 2008 award at the annual conference put on by Government Technology and the Center for Digital Government. The City of Manor received the Best of Texas award for the Most Innovative Use of Technology for the Manor Smartcode Project.
