Election Information



The City Secretary is responsible for conducting municipal elections as prescribed by the Election Code of the State of Texas and the City Charter.  


The governing body of the City shall consist of the mayor and six council members who shall be elected for terms of two years. All places, including the mayor, are elected at large. The Manor City Charter requires that the mayor and council members in Places 1, 3, and 5 are elected in odd numbered years. Council members in Places 2, 4, and 6 are elected in even numbered years.


The City of Manor has contracted with Travis County for election services.

Election Day 2016 - Tuesday, November 8, 2016 (Notice of filing period)

The City of Manor will be holding a General Election this year for the purpose of electing three Council Members: Council Member, Place 2; Council Member, Place 4, and; Council Member, Place 6.
